When Cocotec was founded it was a small local family company. Doing our best to provide fast, reliable and cost effective repairs we have grown into a successful business covering greater parts of Birmingham and surrounding areas.

Our engineers are qualified to component level which means they can take your laptop apart and get to the real source of the problem, no matter how complex it is. All our rates are very competitive in comparison with High Street computer shop prices and service turnaround is faster than most of our competitors.

We believe that some PC repair jobs simply cannot be done on site if they are to be done properly. Hardware diagnostic tests, file corruption scans and virus removal can take hours and are very time consuming process in general — much of the time the engineer can be working on another job whilst a scan is running.

How do we work

We offer two main ways of getting your repairs done.

• Home Call Out Service — we visit your home or office and carry out work on site.
• Return To Base Service — we collect your laptop and fix it on our premises. You can also drop it off to us. As we do callouts and offer free collection & return service please contact us before visiting our premises.

Cocotec is effective by being able to solve any laptop or computer related problems in as short a time as possible. All our staff will be polite and professional at all times, treating our clients with the upmost respect and patience. All the issues will be explained in a jargon free and accessible way. As a result, we have excellent customer feedback and a high percentage of repeat business.

Services Warranty

The central feature of the way we work is — No Fix No Fee.

Depending on what type of repair has been done there is a different warranty it comes with:

• Software Service — all software repairs comes with 30 days warranty. Terms and conditions apply.
• Hardware Service — all hardware repairs comes with up to 12 months warranty which includes both labour and parts provided. Terms and conditions apply.

If the original fault comes back within warranty time, we will fix it free of charge.
In an instance we cannot fix it you will receive a full refund.

Free collection & return area coverage

Blue area on the map shows our callout coverage. We can offer free collection & return service within 5 miles from our premise. If you are located outside 5 milles radius we have £10 call out charge.
